Hello! My name is Nicole Miller and I'm the Social Worker with the Early Childhood Program. I push in to all Early Childhood classrooms and support students and staff in various ways. I serve all Early Childhood families and am happy to help - whether it's with things at school or at home! If you can't find the resources you are looking for on this website, please feel free to e-mail or call.
I received my Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and stayed with my alma mater to complete my Master's in Social Work, specializing in schools. As a Social Worker, I've worked with kids from Early Childhood up through Middle School for more than 10 years. I've worked with students from different backgrounds, ability levels, ages, and needs, and have found that every child has powerful ways to contribute. I especially love the humor and sunshine that Early Childhood students bring to the every day. My husband and I have two hilarious and very energetic children and two cats with very big personalities. We love riding bikes, visiting the library, working in the garden, building with Legos, exploring flavors in the kitchen, going for walks, reading books, having dance parties, and laughing! Thanks for visiting the Social-Emotional Toolkit page and please reach out if you need anything or if you have any ideas about how this site can be improved. |
